The Great Chevalier will be part of the Performing Arts Focus in Luxembourg

M. Chevalier and myself are honoured to participate in the Performing Arts Focus organised by Luxembourg’s Arts Council, Kultur | LX, and present our work there on the 7th of November, 19h, at Casino – Forum d’Art Contemporain as part of The Great Chevalier Tour, which is taking us to countries all over the world:

Join us at Casino Luxembourg for a special evening of dance with the flamboyant new artistic director of the Ballet National Folklorique du Luxembourg, M. Chevalier. Renowned in the world of contemporary folk dance for his expertise, unapologetic artistic vision, and magnetic stage presence, M. Chevalier is proud to take on the artistic direction of the company and celebrate the venues that have contributed to its success. This evening, M. Chevalier will pay tribute to the Casino as part of the 50th anniversary of the company’s most famous ballet, Josiane, the Country Girl, which was partly created at the Casino itself. Audiences will dive into the shared history of the Casino and the Ballet National Folklorique du Luxembourg, while discovering M. Chevalier’s unique blend of charisma and virtuosity as he presents treasured classics from the famous ballet Josiane, the Country Girl – including the iconic Pigeon Dance. This unforgettable evening of dance will be accompanied by an exclusive autograph session.
